Welcome a Web site dedicated to the M82 Game Selectable Working Product Display. My first Nintendo memory is linked to this machine, which I first saw displayed in the electronics department of a local department store. As I watched the 12 games cycle through, I could not wait to play. Years later, I searched for information about the unit online, and found only a few scattered pages with information.

In 2001, I started a search for the display unit I remembered, and after joining a few game collecting sites and setting up searches on ebay, was dismayed to find what units collectors were willing to part with going in upwards of $1500. As I built my NES game collection, I ran into a fellow collector online who had recently acquired one of the units who agreed to trade it to me for most of my collection. I still don’t regret it! I’ve posted pics from the cosmetic restoration (mostly careful cleaning and good dusting).

I hope this site becomes a place for collectors, enthusiasts, or just gamers reliving a time when the Nintendo was still new to us all. If you have your own M82, or links that I am missing, please let me know. I’d be happy to post it here.
